This grade is specially designed for high-grade gold ores and ores containing higher concentrations of competing metals. It is also suitable for ores with more significant preg-robbing characteristics.

VinaSorb® CPL 55 provides excellent hardness, low platelet content, and a larger surface area. These characteristics deliver strong gold adsorption performance, making it a preferred activated carbon grade for many gold mining operations.

Product Positioning

VinaSorb® CPL 55 is suitable for more challenging ore conditions, such as:

• Higher gold concentrations

• Higher concentrations of silver or other metal ions

• Ores with preg-robbing characteristics that may adsorb gold-cyanide complexes

Under these conditions, activated carbon with higher adsorption capacity and a faster adsorption rate is required.

VinaSorb® CPL 60

This grade is recommended for processing ores with high gold and silver grades, as well as ores containing significant levels of base metals.

It is also suitable for highly preg-robbing ores, processes that use preg-robbing suppressants, and applications requiring rapid adsorption kinetics.

Key Features

As the highest-activity grade in the VinaSorb® CPL Series, VinaSorb® CPL 60 provides excellent gold loading capacity, represented by a higher K-value, together with faster adsorption kinetics, represented by a higher R-value.

Its superior performance helps improve gold recovery rates while minimizing mechanical attrition. It also provides good desorption efficiency during the elution process.
